Hi I'm Tom Rhodes, welcome to my apartment.  I am a San Francisco Bay area songwriter and I have some very talented friends.  I wanted to capture what it is like when we are able to get together and relax and play music with each other, so I invite them over to my place and we hang out and record a tune.

I don't know the songs before hand, so I have to learn them on the spot.  What I wind up with is a musical conversation in which the guest is explaining their song to me musically and I am responding to them as we go along.  Sometimes it only takes one or two tries, sometimes it takes ten, but we always come away happy.
